Meet the Diet Specialist Team
Our Diet Specialist team consists of experienced and enthusiastic dietitians with many years of experience working in the NHS. Their expertise spans across a number of different specialisms and their passion for delivering a good client experience is found in everything they do. Each dietitian is registered with both the British Dietetic Association and the Health professional council. Muna Al-Rawi BSc, MSc and RD HPC no. DT22668 Muna is the founder of Diet Specialist and has extensive experience in working in both the public and private sectors. She has pioneered several work based health programmes in some of the UK's largest companies and has led several training courses with leading occupational health companies. Having developed her unique 6 step science based approach to diet, she has help transform the lives of thousands of clients with over 22,000 followers on from across the world.

Gillian Abernethy BSc, RD HPC no. DT26225 Gillian is a specialist weight management and general team dietitian and has worked within a wide range of specialisms including antenatal, diabetes, hypertension, general nephrology, and bariatrics (weight loss surgery). She is an excellent communicator able to condense complex dietetic information into an understandable form for both individual and group settings. She is passionate about how diet can make a positive change in people's lives.

Heba Abuwarda BSc, RD HPC no. DT27572 Heba has experience working as a dietitian in both community and clinical settings, working with individuals with learning disabilities as well as in working in the specialist weight management services. Heba has also developed experience in health promotion, showing clients how they can live healthy lifestyles without needing to make huge changes to their diets. Heba is energetic and enthusiastic and keen to make a positive change in people's lives through improving their diet. |
